All seems well as Boo starts preening a very pleased and mellow Smidgen. Of course I will always have to be watching them while out together but this seems like a good omen. I hope that Boo will help Smidgen become more trusting of hands, too. Right now Smidgen will get up on his food dish when I'm holding it, so slowly he's learning that hands aren't evil things out to get him.
